Fluid Art Workshop 8.30
Fluid Art Workshop 8.30
Gather with friends and let the creativity flow, literally!
Discover the freeing process of fluid art during this fun, interactive DIY Workshop. Please come prepared to get messy! (We’ll provide gloves and aprons, but based on our experience, it’s always best to be prepared.) In this workshop you’ll learn a variety of paint pouring methods as well as tips and tricks to crafting successful fluid art recipes using one of our favorite products – Unicorn Spit* (it truly is magical!) Start your maker journey by choosing from a variety of projects such as canvas, a set of coasters, or metal décor. Then you’ll select a few colors and prepare to pour; don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the process from start to finish. It’s surprisingly simple and so much fun — and we haven’t even mentioned the best part — we’ll clean up the mess!
*Unicorn Spit is a non-toxic gel stain & glaze great for a variety of projects, and also available in the retail section of our studio.
This workshop requires the maker to have an ability to “go with the flow.” The fascination of the fluid art process is the remarkable beauty found in the unknown results. No two pieces turn out the same yet they are all equally lovely.
Projects for this workshop are available on a first come, first serve basis at the time of the workshop. We work hard to provide a rotating, seasonally minded lineup of projects exclusive to our fluid art workshops.
When: Friday, August 30th - 6pm-9pm
Where: Stone Silo Studios (In the barn @ Rusty Tractor : 6219 Hwy 42, Egg Harbor, WI 54209)
Because these pieces take time to dry, students may need to come back 3-7 days after class to pick up their finished piece. Projects can be picked up locally in our studio or you may arrange for shipping.
